    My Favourite Bike
So I owned a pulsar 135ls, that was my first bike. Even with all it's flaws I still loved the bike cause it was my first. So getting to your question, I don't like writing long boring stories unless really needed so I'll try to keep this short. I loved the bike cause it was the best in it's segment when it first launched, 4V with twin spark and sharp edgy looks. But from day one I noticed that it's finish wasn't that good, in comparison to TVS at that time. I had the bike for 4 years and after the first year I started hearing rattling sounds cause the finish of the bike wasn't good at all and parts would get lose very easily and I had to get them tightened often. This continued and I started to hate Bajaj for making such low quality parts. After the 3rd year I noticed that the engine stalled sometimes and wouldn't be able to go up to its peak performance as before. Now since I sold my bike 2 years ago and it's been 6 years since I bought that bike, there have been new and updated models coming out. I was impressed with the Dominar but didn't like the fact that some of its looks are a copy. But I'm hoping that Bajaj has improved their quality in the past few years. You should take a test ride and open the throttle, see if the flow of fuel into the cylinder is controlled correctly and see it you feel any jerky motion, if you do then the cylinder is being flooded with fuel, which results in poor combustion and waste of fuel. If it doesn't which means they have improved their carburettor unit. Also take a close look at the finish of the bike, if it's not up to the mark then everything will start vibrating at high rpm’s. As for using it on long rides, Yes you can but you can't ride it at its peak rpm, it will damage the engine. I think the max you can cruise at is 90kmph. You will face lots of vibrations at higher speeds which is very uncomfortable. When I sold my bike it had done 50k. I hope this helps. Cheers.
