All the bikes are very stylish and classy. The company has launched Honda CBR 1000RR and Honda CBR 1000RR Fireblade. Now it is going to enter in entry-level sports segment with the launch of Honda CBR 250R and Honda CBR 150R. The new CBR series bike (250cc and 150cc) have affordable price tag in the market. The booking for Honda CBR 250R has been started with advance booking payment of Rs. 5000 only.
The all new and classy Honda CBR 250R is going to splash the market with its classy and mind blowing features. The new Honda CBR 250R is specially designed to target large number of young crowd of the country. The all new supersports Honda CBR is available in two models Honda CBR 1000 RR and Honda CBR 1000RR fireblade while Honda CBR 250 also will available in two variants such as ABS and non-ABS versions.
The Supersports Honda CBR 1000RR and 1000RR Fireblade are loaded with very powerful and dynamic engine of 999 cc displacement. The new bike is sure to perform very nicely. The engine type is 4 strokes, liquid cooled, double cylinder and DOHC 4 valve engine. The engine of the Honda CBR 1000R is loaded with fuel injection system which ensures proper and optimum utilization of fuel. The engine is also endowed with 6 Speed Transmission for smooth changing of gears.
The upcoming Honda CBR 250R will be loaded with liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC, 4 valve, single cylinder, 250cc engine. It also possesses fuel injection system (PGM-Fi type).
The self and kick start options of the Honda CBR bikes enhance comfort level. All the Honda CBR bikes are loaded and fully furnished components that enhance the comfort level for both the rider and the pillion. The sport and stylish look of the Honda CBR bikes offer very sophisticated and elegant look. The broad and huge alloy wheels of the Honda CBR bikes look very aggressive and sporty.
The stylish Honda CBR 1000RR and CBR 1000RR fireblade are incorporated with dynamic disc brakes and advanced suspension system which absorbs maximum shock. The fuel tank capacity of the new Honda CBR is 17.7 litres with a 3 litres of reserve.
The Honda CBR 250R is also loaded with Hydraulic disk brake at front and rear while fuel tank capacity of the bike is 13 litres with a 3.5 litres of reserve. The bike, Honda CBR 250 has different look from its series and seems inspired from Honda VFR 1200F which is the Honda's VFR series superbike.
Design
The Honda CBR 1000RR and Honda CBR 1000RR fireblade are very stunning as far as looks are concerned. The overall length of the bikes are 2080 mm, height is 1130 mm and the width measures 685 mm. The bike has ground clearance of 130 mm with saddle height of 820 mm. The curb weight of the new bikes are 199 kg.
The Honda CBR 250R is having sporty frame; it's length is 2035 mm, Height is 1125 mm and Width is 720 mm while the ground clearance of the bike is 145 mm. Honda CBR 250R will be available in two variants as ABS and non-ABS. The weight for the ABS variant is 165 (ABS) kg while the non-ABS variant accounts for 161(STD) kg.
. The all stylish Honda CBR 1000RR and Honda CBR 1000RR fireblade have very stylish and classy alloy wheels which offer very impressive and bold look of the bikes. The aggression and sporty look is enhanced with the alloy wheels. The rim size for the front wheel and rear wheel is 17 inch. The front tyre specification of the Honda CBR 1000RR and Honda CBR 1000RR fireblade are 120/70 – ZR17 M/C (58W) and that of the rear tyre is 190/50 – ZR17 M/C (73W). The broad tyres of the bikes help in controlling the bike in the event of high speed and also reduce the risk of skidding.
Honda CBR 250R is a sporty bike and loaded with broad and rigid wheels that give it crazy image. The size of the front tyre is 110/70-17M/C and rear is 140/70-17M/C, these wide and fatter tyres of the bike provide heavy and classy image. The tyres of the bike are tubeless that make easy to make puncture.

- CBR250These two models of Honda CBR 250 are more than 10 years old in world market, but at the same time other sports bike models like R 15, Kawasaki Ninja 250R etc are much recent models in world market. Price wise Kawasaki Ninja 250 is about double than CBR 250 (Rs.1,50,000) and power wise Honda is on higher side with 45PS when Ninja is 33ps. 21 March, 2011: It took 3 months to launch Honda CBR 250R in India, but finally, India gets the much-awaited light sports motorcycle from Honda at Rs. 1. 43 lakh for non-ABS version and Rs. 1. 68 lakh for ABS added version. The bike will be available in three stunning hues including black, silver and red. Noted that the bike's booking was offered in the first month of the year 2011.
27 October, 2010: Honda India has announced to launch the Honda CBR 250R in India in April; however, the bookings for the bike will be commenced from January, 2011. The light sports motorcycle is packed with a 250cc, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC, 4 valve, single cylinder engine that generates a top power of 26 bhp at 8500 rpm and max torque of 23 Nm at 7000 rpm with the help of 6 speed gearbox. The special feature of the bike is its combined ABS system that is comprised of ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) and CBS (Combined Brake System). It would be priced at Rs 1. 50 lakh while the top-end model will carry a price tag of Rs 1. 8 lakh in India.
