Auto Expo 2023

Auto Expo 2023 has very few conventional (ICE - Internal Combustion Engine) two-wheeler makers participating. This year, there will be a lot of EV players present at the Expo. Here’s the list of all the two-wheeler makers coming to Expo.

The distance from the parking to the main venue differs based on which parking lot you parked in and which you're entering from. In any case, the distances can be a bit daunting, so best to drop off those who can’t walk at the gates before parking your car. Otherwise, you could also use any of the free buses shuttling between the parking lots and the gates.

Those driving down will be able to park at any of the five designated parking spots near India Expo Mart. Each parking lot is capable of handling more than 10,000 cars at once! So make sure you keep a note or drop a pin on google maps about where you parked your car as it can get rather confusing when these parking lots fill up. Visitors to Auto Expo 2023 can also avail ride sharing services like Ola and Uber, or any other cab service. But if you do decide to drive down, it’s best to refer to Google Maps to understand road closures and diversions. Here is the location of India Expo Mart, Greater Noida on Google Maps.

The India Expo Mart occupies an area of over 58 acres, with 14 exhibition halls, convention facilities, lounges, restaurants and food courts. Visitors to the Auto Expo should be prepared to walk a lot if they want to see most of the exhibits. The Expo Mart has three entry and exit points located across the whole space.

Visitors can get in starting at Rs 350 during general public hours on weekdays (16, 17,18 Jan). On the weekend (14,15 Jan) though, ticket prices are Rs 475 per head and for business hours on 13 Jan, it will cost you Rs 750. These tickets can be purchased online at BookMyShow.com. Physical passes should be available for purchase near the venue.

Entry to the Auto Expo venue is only allowed once on a single ticket. And unfortunately, there are no replacement tickets or refunds available should you lose your ticket. Also the barcode needs to be kept in good condition if you want to enter the venue.

While nearly everyone who wishes to visit the Auto Expo will need to purchase a ticket, there are some exceptions. Children under the age of five can get in for free, as can any wheelchair users and any person assisting them.

Security at Auto Expo 2023 is going to be very strict with a thorough security check at every entrance to the venue. You will need to pass through metal detectors as well as be frisked before you are allowed to enter. Your luggage will be scanned in an X-ray machine and any items deemed dangerous, such as weapons, firearms, knives/blades, sharp objects, lighters, matchboxes, toy weapons, inflammable materials, laser pointers, glass/plastic containers, cans, bottles and all manner of boxes will be strictly prohibited to be taken inside. Any such items are also liable to be confiscated.

So while you can carry some bags with you, it’s advised that you keep your luggage to a minimum, as it will also make it easier for you to walk around the venue.

Unfortunately, no! Outside food and drinks aren’t allowed inside the Expo venue. That said, there will be plenty of food stalls and food trucks inside the Expo Mart. So you needn’t worry about food when you’re visiting the Auto Expo.

According to the Auto Expo website, there’s no mention of requiring a vaccination certificate to enter the venue. So you should be just fine without a vaccination certificate. That said, if you are vaccinated against Covid, it’s always to carry your vaccination certificate on your mobile, just in case. Also, we would advise visitors to wear masks and carry hand sanitizers to keep their hands clean at all times.
