Bajaj has already confirmed the name along with the launch date of its upcoming flagship motorcycle, that will be called "Dominar 400." Now, the company has released a teaser of the bike that says, "The Big Bike for Big Boys." Bajaj has also launched the official website for the Dominar 400, where you can register for an exclusive preview of the motorcycle. Registered fans will get to see the live launch webcast of the motorcycle along with a limited edition brochure on the launch day, which is December 15th, 2016. Not only this, the registered people will also get an invitation for their city launch of the bike along with an opportunity for a priority test ride.

If we say what we know about the Dominar 400 so far, we can say a lot. Apart from the concept model (Pulsar CS400) showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo and the spy pictures of the test bike, we also have the official images of the first motorcycle produced at Bajaj's Chakan plant. If we talk about the design, it takes a lot from its concept model. The company has carried over lots of interesting bits, such as the aggressive multi-LED headlamp unit, dual LCD instrument panel, mid-ship muffler, stylish alloy wheels, masculine fuel tank, and much more. You will definitely miss those inverted front forks on the bike, however, the normal beefy units are also looking quite good.

Powering the Bajaj Dominar 400 is a 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-valve engine that is based on the KTM 390 Duke's motor. However, it will offer a different behaviour with lesser power output and better torque at lower engine speeds. The fuel-injected motor has been said to deliver 35PS of power and 33Nm of torque. The bike will get an adjustable monoshock at the rear with a cast aluminium swingarm. Along with wide tubeless tyres, it will get a performance braking system with large disc brakes on both the ends, while ABS is expected to be offered as an optional extra.

As we mentioned in our previous report, some Bajaj dealers have already started taking bookings for the Bajaj Dominar 400 and a few of them are also claiming to show the bike at their dealerships within a week. Speculated to be priced around Rs 1.7 lakh, the most powerful Bajaj will rival Indian offerings like the popular Royal Enfield motorcycles and the Mahindra Mojo.
