Indus Yo Spark is a gauzy electric scooter which aims to reduce the daily running costs significantly and in a country like India, where the prices of the fuel is constantly increasing scooters like this become an advantage for middle class individuals. They are popular as they have low running cost along with pocket friendly pricing and easy to ride features. This scooter became even more prudent after the launch of FAME India scheme, which provides incentives for electric vehicle purchase to the customers, offered by the government to promote these eco-friendly options.
The scooter is gets its power from a 900W BLDC electric hub motor which moves with the help of a sealed maintenance free VRLA battery. The 33Ah VRLA type battery takes around 6-8 hours to get fully charged, after it gets fully charged, it offers a decent range of 60km. With this it can reach up to a top speed of 45 kmph. It consumes 2.1 units of electricity to get a full charge. Besides this, the manufacturer configured it with the telescopic fork assembly at the front and spring assisted shocks at the rear which offers a good handling even on the rough surfaces. To make the ride even more safe and convenient it comes blessed with front and rear drum brakes that give a good grip.
Coming to body design, It comes with a sleek body dynamics which makes it a little like a mini yet worthy scootering package. Its front profile equipped with a trapezoidal headlamp along with a sharp front body profile enhances its appearance. Furthermore, it is furnished with a glossy and well-cushioned seat that provides comfortable seating to the rider as well as pillion. The measurement of the scooter is 1860 mm in length, 730 mm in width, 1300 mm in height. The company also offers a storage space underneath the seat for carrying some stuff. Apart from this, it comes in two riding modes i.e. Economy and Power. As is evident from their names, the former gives a stretched running range while the latter offers an improved speed and power delivery.
