Hero Mavrick 440 Thunderwheels Edition Unveiled: Here’s How You Can Win One!

This is a limited edition and features a dual-tone red & blue colour scheme

A limited-edition Mavrick 440 was unveiled by Thums Up via their social media, called the Mavrick 440 Thunderwheels. The announcement featured cricketer Jasprit Bumrah. It states that lucky customers who scan the QR code behind a Thums Up bottle stand a chance to ride and even potentially own this limited edition Hero Mavrick 440.

The Thunderwheels edition of the Hero Mavrick 440 features a specially designed colour scheme. The new colour is a dual-tone shade with dark blue and dark red, similar to the one used by soft drink brand on their logo and branding. 

The dual tone shade has been used quite nicely on the front fender, with the fender getting a blue finish and the bit near the fork being red. The headlight section has also been changed slightly and now comes with a flyscreen. Another interesting thing to note is, the stock rear view mirrors have been replaced with bar-end mirrors.

The tank on this bike gets a blue finish as well, but the Mavrick 440 badging features a metallic grey and red finish, with the grey used for the top half and the red on the bottom. The tank extensions are red, and it also gets a ‘Thunderwheels’ graphic. Lastly, the engine crankcase has received a golden finish. This makes it stand out quite a bit when compared to the stock Mavrick which gets a black finish.

Coming to the rear, the tail section features a similar blue finish as the tank and the bike gets a pillion backrest as standard. Overall, the colour scheme and addition of accessories makes the bike looks quite good. It also feels really special when compared to the more subtle shades and graphics offered on the stock Mavrick 440. 

Other than the addition of this new shade and graphics, the bike doesn’t seem to have undergone any mechanical changes. The Mavrick 440 is still powered by the same 440cc, air/oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine which produces 27.36PS and 36Nm.
