This month will see quite a few premium motorcycles coming our way
The month of September witnessed a few high-profile launches including the new Honda CB 350 H’Ness. This month too we expect to see quite a few new motorcycles and scooters come our way. Here’s a list of the expected launches in October:
BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS
The BMW twins were discontinued before the BS6 norms came into effect. Both 310cc motorcycles will make a comeback in BS6 form. Apart from a cleaner motor, the duo also gets cosmetic and feature updates. Check out more details here.
Bluetooth-enabled Suzuki Range
Suzuki has released a teaser of its upcoming range that will get an updated instrument console with smartphone connectivity. At present, the Suzuki Gixxer, Intruder and Burgman range use a full-digital instrument console and are highly likely to get the new updates. Here are more details.

Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT
Suzuki will launch the BS6 variant of its V-Strom 650 XT in India soon. Besides a greener motor, the 650cc adventure tourer will not get any significant cosmetic or mechanical updates. It is expected to deliver slightly less power and torque compared to the BS4 V-Strom’s output of 71PS and 62.3Nm. Get more details and expected prices here.
Honda CBR1000RR-R
We had already revealed the upcoming Honda flagship motorcycle’s launch price in India. It will not just be the most expensive Honda motorcycle to be sold in India, but also the most powerful, with the new 999.9cc inline-four motor developing a staggering 217PS. Know all details about this upcoming superbike here.
Ducati Multistrada 950/950S
After the launch of the Panigale V2 and Scrambler 1100 BS6 twins, Ducati is expected to launch the BS6 versions of the Multistrada 950 and 950S in India next, given that the Euro 5 variants of both motorcycles are already available overseas. We expect Ducati to launch the Multistrada 950 in alloy and spoke wheel variants and command a premium of around Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 1.7 lakh over its predecessor.
Okinawa Oki100
While the Okinawa Cruiser maxi-scooter showcased at Auto Expo 2020 will be coming next year, the electric scooter maker could launch its first electric motorcycle, the Oki100, next month. The bikemaker says the electric motorcycle is slated for launch in the third quarter of financial year 2020-2021, which means somewhere between October and December this year. The upcoming Oki100 will look nothing like the mini bike prototype but will be styled like a full-sized commuter motorcycle. More details here.
TVS Victor BS6
One of the last TVS motorcycles to get the BS6 update, the Victor could be launched this month. Other than a cleaner fuel-injected motor, the Victor could get updates such as Glide Through Technology (low speed assist), LED headlamp and more. Here’s what we can expect from the upcoming motorcycle.
