Yamaha forays into the elite league of sponsors in the IPL

Cricket is the unofficial religion in India and most watching game in the country. This game attracts everybody so all the brand produced manufacturer companies want to get the lucrative there products via promotion, name, logo and advertisement in this event. After Cricket World Cup, Indian Premier League is (IPL) the most watching event in the country which attracts every body. So India's leading two wheeler maker India Yamaha Motor has entered in this event as a one year partner of Deccan Chargers team.
Presently 10 teams are playing in this mega event and Deccan Chargers, the IPL team from Hyderabad is owned by Deccan Chronicle Holdings Limited (DCHL), the leading media house which publishes Deccan Chronicle, the No.1 English Newspaper in South India. And IYM has entered in this mega event as a one year panther of this team. As per deal between DC and IYM, Yamaha the right to be referred as the “Official Team Partner” status in all its advertising and promotions including web promotions, right to be mentioned in all official media release by DC, right to unlimited usage of DC name and logo. Along with these right Yamaha will also use the images and signatures of minimum three players of DC. And Yamaha can access to players for two days of promotion and events.
Hero Honda is official partner of Cricket World Cup and promoting its two wheelers in this mega event so Yamaha will also promote its bikes like Yamaha VMAX, Yamaha MT01, Yamaha YZF R1, Yamaha FZ 1, Yamaha Fazer, Yamaha FZS, Yamaha FZ16, Yamaha SZ, Yamaha SZ-X, Yamaha SZ-R, Yamaha R15, Yamaha SS 125, Yamaha YBR 125, Yamaha YBR and Yamaha Crux in this event via logos, sliding, hoardings and advertisements. Apart from this, the Yamaha logo will also appear on leading side of player's helmets and caps.
As per deal Yamaha’s brand logo will also feature on all promotions done by DC across various communication material including DC program catalogue and web promotion. Meanwhile five exclusive top-end hospitality seats per match and twenty other general stands per match will be available for Yamaha.
