Yamaha to flag off 'Pan India Ride' on 15th Sept 2010

Yamaha India, one of the largest bike makers in the Indian market, is all set to launch a new promotional rally for its upcoming bikes in the Indian market. According to industry sources, the company is going to flag-off a 'Pan India Ride' through which it will promote safe riding habits in the country. The Major attractions of this rally will be company's upcoming Yamaha SZ 150 and Yamaha SZ-X. The promotional rally will be flagged off from Delhi on the 15th of September 2010 and will be concluded after 35 days on 20th of October 2010.
According to reports, the company won't be organizing any auditions or competitions for selection of bike riders for the rally this time around, instead, it will be handpicking the riders who qualified in for the last years rally. By including its prospective bikes like Yamaha SZ 150 and Yamaha SZ-X in this rally, the company will not only provide a nation wide promotion to these bikes but also set a benchmark of their power and performance among the bike enthusiasts.
Meanwhile, the another prospective bike of the company, Yamaha Fazer 250 has reportedly completed the testing process at the ARAI (Automotive Regulatory Authority of India) headquarters in Pune. The new Fazer 250 is expected to be launched in the Indian market by the end of this year, however, the company hasn't made any announcement on this regard, so far.
