The iQube is TVS’ offering in the electric family scooter segment. Here’s what we like and dislike about the scooter:

Likes: The motor offers very good acceleration — Not as quick as other sporty e-scooter but has enough punch at all times for quick overtakes

Instant as well as consistent torque output from the hub-mounted motor makes commuting in the city a breezy affair

The regenerative braking system works perfectly — Just need to roll off the throttle & the scooter slows down immediately

Suspension setup is very pliant — Stopping power from the brakes is quite good and the feedback from the lever is good as well

Consistent & reliable DTE (Distance to Empty) readouts on the console helps reduce range anxiety a lot

Dislikes: Heavy kerb weight of the scooter can be felt while parking it in tight spaces

Build quality could’ve been better — Dangling footpegs, loose mirrors & switch for reverse mode getting stuck sometimes takes away some of the scooter’s premiumness

Integrated hub-motor makes taking out the rear wheel for puncture repairs a tiresome affair
