Dear friends….I have been riding this bike for last 2 years. I am putting this review about Yamaha R15, so it might be helpful for anyone. 2 years before I bought Yamaha R15 from Pune. Before purchasing this bike I have shortlisted so many sporty bikes including Yamaha YZ, Yamaha FZ, Bajaj Pulsar and Hero Karizma. But at last, I took this bike because of its killer looks. As till date the bike is working perfectly fine and almost no maintenance cost I have spent in this bike except regular servicing. The looks are killer and mind blowing. But the quality of material is not so good. The engine is putting nice power with good pick up. The engine does not vibrates and provides smooth ride even at high speeds. The mileage this bike generates is pathetic, it gives mileage around 30 kmpl. Along with mileage the bike have bad ergonomics. while riding this bike for long time you will feel body pain and your body posture becomes too stiff. I know these sports bikes are meant for that but my concern is all about comfort, which it fails to produce. Very difficult to ride this two-wheeled monster.
