Hero Honda has launched a commuter bike, Hero Honda CD Dawn, in India to compete with Bajaj and TVS who have low priced entry-level bikes in India. This entry-level bike is loaded with reliable Hero Honda technology that proves itself on Indian roads. However, the Hero Honda CD Dawn could be as popular as its Hero Honda Splendor but fills the gap of lower-priced Hero Honda bike in India. Recently the company launched refreshed edition of the bike with new features.

The new improved powertrain produces a top power of 7.7 bhp at 7,500 rpm and generates a peak torque of 7.55 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The Hero Honda CD Dawn uses a 4 speed gearbox which follows all down gear shifting pattern. It has got CDI ignition and handle lock instead of ignition lock. The starting pattern is kick start only.
