About Kawasaki Z400
The Kawasaki Z400 has been launched globally in its Euro 5/BS6 avatar. The Z400 is essentially a Ninja 400 minus the fairing. As a result, it's powered by the same 399cc, parallel-twin motor which dishes out 43.5PS of power and 37Nm of torque. That makes it 1Nm less than its predecessor. The bike features a 41mm telescopic front fork at the front along with a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. A 310mm front disc and a 220mm one at the rear handle braking duties. To back the bikes’ sporty credentials, it comes with 17-inchers at both ends with a 110/70 tyre at the front and 150/60 at the rear. It tips the scale at 167kg, making it the same as its previous iteration.
The Kawasaki Z400 goes up against the KTM 390 Duke, BMW G 310 R, Honda CB300R and the Yamaha MT-03 which could be launched soon.
