2024 KTM 200 Duke: What’s New?

For 2024 KTM has made the 200 Duke more feature-packed than before!

KTM had recently updated the 200 Duke, bringing to it a new 5-inch TFT console and a lot of features. The brand has also brought back a discontinued colour scheme which was offered on the bike earlier. In this article, we will be going over what is new and giving you a detailed breakdown.

2024 KTM 200 Duke New Colour

The Duke 200 was earlier offered in a silver finish, called Metallic Silver and now that colour scheme has been reintroduced with this update. The new Metallic Silver offers a similar finish, with the front half of the fender and tank extension getting a shade of silver. The KTM liveries used on the tank are a combination of dark blue and orange. The tail section and wheel rims are orange. 

Overall, this colour scheme is one of the more interesting looking ones offered by KTM. It is a nice change from the usual black and orange that we have come to see so often. With the reintroduction of the Metallic Silver, the bike is now offered in 3 colours. The other 2 being: Electronic Orange and Dark Galvano.

If you’re someone who is planning on getting a KTM 200 Duke, and would like to go for something that is a bit out of the ordinary then this Metallic Silver colour scheme will be a good choice.

2024 KTM 200 Duke New Console

The most important update the bike has undergone is the addition of a new 5-inch TFT console, the same as the one on the KTM 390 Duke. The new console looks quite good and gives the bike a more premium look and feel. The console offers two display modes, one with an orange theme and another with a Dark theme.

The console that the 200 Duke used to feature earlier was the same LCD one which we had seen since the KTM lineup had first come to India. That console had quite a bit of issues with visibility given the small font sizes. But now, with this new console KTM has solved that issue quite well in our opinion. 

2024 KTM 200 Duke New Features

With the addition of this new TFT console, the bike has now received a bunch of new features as well. The TFT console offers smartphone connectivity which opens up features such as turn-by-turn navigation, helmet headset pairing/music controls, call alerts with the ability to accept/reject calls. 

The bike now comes with the same 4-way menu switches, as seen on the KTM 250 Duke & 390 Duke, mounted on the left hand side of the bike’s switchgear. With this addition, the rider can now change music selection and accept/reject calls on the go, by pressing the mode button.

Price & Verdict

With this update, the bike now comes at a price of Rs 2,03,412 (ex-showroom, Delhi), which is a hike of Rs 4,462. The premium on the bike is quite reasonable, given the new console and the good set of features it has to offer. The reintroduction of the Metallic Silver colour scheme is also something we appreciate, as it offers greater variety in terms of colours.

Other than the addition of the new console and features, along with the reintroduction of the Metallic Silver colour scheme, the Duke 200 remains unchanged. The bike is still powered by the same 199.55cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine which produces 25PS and 19.3Nm.
