2025 KTM 390 Adventure S
Design
The KTM 390 Adventure S showcases rally-inspired bodywork that is seen on the Austrian brand’s flagship, the 1390 Adventure, and features the brand’s signature orange and white color scheme. It is equipped with knuckle guards, a raised front fender and a tall windscreen. It has vertically stacked projector LED headlights which seem heavily inspired from the brand’s flagship ADV. The instrument console is positioned higher than the handlebar, giving it a rally tower like appearance. It also has a long single piece seat, a streamlined tail section, an underbelly exhaust, and a bash plate for added protection.
Underpinnings
The new 2025 KTM Adventure 390 will also feature a new chassis compared to the previous-gen 390 Adventure. It rides on 21-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels, fitted with block-pattern tyres. It also has disc brakes at both ends, with dual-channel ABS as standard and the rear ones can be switched off if you intend to step its tail out. The monoshock can be pre-load adjusted using a screwdriver, while the front suspension are upside down (USD) forks with manual adjustment.
Features
The KTM 390 Adventure S features the same 5-inch TFT instrument console as the 390 Duke, offering smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth. The bike is expected to include rider aids similar to its naked sibling, but with additional off-road modes, switchable ABS, cornering ABS, traction control, and cruise control.
2025 KTM 390 Enduro R
Styling
The 2025 KTM 390 Enduro R, the second of the Adventure motorcycles to be showcased, features a classic enduro bike design, as already seen when it was unveiled at EICMA 2024 recently. It comes equipped with a compact headlight and an elevated front fender. Compared to the 390 Adventure, the bike has more streamlined bodywork and is fitted with a long, flat single-piece seat. Additionally, it boasts a taller single-piece handlebar and a sleek, slim rear design.
Chassis
The 2025 KTM 390 Enduro R will also feature a long travel suspension, including an USD fork and a monoshock, which can be adjusted for pre-load using only a screwdriver. The 390 Enduro R will be equipped with a 21-inch front and an 17-inch rear spoke wheel, with off-road tyres on both ends.
Features
The KTM 390 Enduro R is equipped with a smaller digital instrument display, providing basic information. These bikes may also feature some rider aids such as the switchable ABS and traction control. It is also expected to include off-road-specific riding modes. It gets an USB type-C phone charging socket as well.
Engine Specifications:
Both these bikes, the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure S and the 2025 390 Enduro R, will be powered by the same 398.63cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine as seen on the 3rd generation KTM Duke 390. This engine produces 46PS, 39Nm and it comes with a 6-speed gearbox featuring a slip-and-assist clutch and a bi-directional quickshifter.
However, KTM might use a larger sprocket and alter gear ratios to improve low-end power delivery for off-road purposes.
