Bajaj Pulsar 125 India Launch Later This Month

Modified On Aug 1, 2019 07:01 PM By Praveen M. for Bajaj Pulsar 125 (Duplicate)

Our recent spy shots reveal quite a bit about Bajaj’s upcoming baby Pulsar

As per our sources, the Pulsar 125's design language will be similar to the regular 150. It is likely to come with split seats for added sportiness. The engine will be carburetted. Bajaj is likely to price the bike very competitively.

Bajaj is all set to launch the Pulsar 125 in India later this month. Contrary to most have been expecting, we’ve come to know that the upcoming motorcycle will have a design language similar to the Pulsar 150 instead of the Pulsar LS 135. In fact, the motorcycle we spotted recently is actually the Pulsar 125 and not the BS6-compliant Pulsar 150

We’ve also gotten to know that Bajaj might launch the motorcycle in a Neon version apart from a regular colour variant. The bike is likely to undercut the Pulsar 150 Neon, which is priced at Rs 71,200 (ex-showroom Delhi), by around Rs 10,000. For reference, the Pulsar 150 Neon. One of the main reasons for the competitive pricing is also to do with the fact that this motorcycle requires CBS and not ABS.

While we know the engine is going to be carburetted, the powerplant is likely to be based on the Pulsar LS 135’s engine. The engine isn’t BS6-compliant for now. Expect it to make less power and torque compared to the 149.5cc motor which makes 14PS and 13.4Nm.

While the test mule came with a single-piece seat, the final product will likely feature split seats as per our sources. Underpinnings include telescopic fork up front and twin gas-charged shock absorbers at the rear. The spy shot reveals a front disc with braided lines and a rear drum. Bajaj will equip the motorcycle with mechanical CBS, just like the one in the Platina 110 H-Gear
