The company will individually promote its Discover and Pulsar brands laucnhing new various categories down the line, a senior official of the company said. "However, It would be too early to comment on the Bajaj brand," he added. Bajaj auto is eager to come out with its traditional Bajaj tag (parent) image and emphasizing individually on its motorcycles; Pulsar, Discover, KTM and Boxer along with the commerical vehicles brand, citing Bajaj Auto managing director Rajiv Bajaj said, "monthly average sales is expected to increase by 335,000 units in the ongoing fiscal with the rising demand of company's most selling motorcycle models Discover and Pulsar. HT had reported in the previous year that pune-based company marked three distinct brands for retailing its performance bikes at its probiking chain of showrooms with Bajaj positioned as the value for money, KTM in the off-road category and Kawasaki as sporty and stylish bike. HT has also claimed that all motorcycles would be sold under their individual brand, and there will be no cross-branding.
