Hyosung GT250R Facelift coming soon in India

The South Korean manufacturer, Hyosung is about to bring an facelift version of its entry level faired machine- GT250R in India. The 2014 model is already on sales in some markets, which looks exactly similar to its elder sibling- GT650R. There are only a few differences like the exhaust muffler, which remains unchanged.

Dimensions and outline of both the bikes were already quite similar, however, you can find the difference between then via headlamp and fairing. Now, the new Hyosung GT250R will get the same fairing, headlamp and other body panels. So, it will be difficult to find out difference compared to the existing GT650R without looking at the monikers showing their name.

The bike will get its power from the existing 249cc, V-twin engine mated with a 6-speed gearbox, which churns out 28bhp of maximum power with a peak torque of 22.07Nm. So, you can also look at the visible crank case or exhaust pipe to differentiate the updated Hyosung GT250R from GT650R.

The company has already started the bookings of the 2014 Hyosung GT250R priced at Rs. 3.1 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai).
