The motorcycle is equipped with a 125cc, SOHC, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that churns out 9.5 PS of power. The engine comes mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission and a 4-speed manual for Z125 and Z125 Pro respectively. It gets a 100/90 R12 front and 130/70 R12 rear tyre with disc brakes at both wheels for good stopping power. The suspension system comprises of USD and mono shock at the front and rear end respectively. The design of this bike is inspired by the more powerful Z-series offerings as it gets a low-set headlamp with a masculine fuel tank (capacity of 7.4 litres), a raised tail and sporty shrouds holding the ‘Z’ badge. The analog-digital instrument cluster houses a digital speedometer, an analog tachometer, fuel gauge, gear indicator, clock, odometer and a trip meter.
