Yamaha Motor India witnessed a growth of 14.4%

Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd. continues to draw an upward arrow on the sales graph. The company has recorded domestic sales growth of 14.3% during June'14 as compared to June'13. Yamaha is working hard to boost its sales with its innovative programs, customer engaging activities and amazing product line-up. Alpha and new models of FZ series- FZ Version 2.0 and FZS Version 2.0 have been launched to accelerate the sales in the deluxe segment.


The company sold 40,666 units in June 2014 as against 35,561 units sold in June last year in the domestic market thereby registering a domestic sales growth of 14.4%.

Elaborating on the results, Mr. Roy Kurian, Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd, said, “The incessant growth numbers are a sign of Yamaha’s robust business plan and strategic customer engagement programs. The month has ended on a very positive note for us as we launched new variants under the FZ series - FZ Version 2.0 and FZ-S Version 2.0 yesterday. We have had other launches as well this year, however, Alpha, launched at the Auto expo, continues to be a fundamental growth driver for us. This is indeed the reviving times for the industry as we have an industry-friendly and an absolute government at centre. With these developments, the positive sentiments have also started to grace the industry.”
