Engine and Transmission
Engine Type Refers to the design and configuration of the engine. Most petrol bikes typically use either a single-cylinder, twin-cylinder, or occasionally a multi-cylinder (like a four-cylinder) engine. | Air-Cooled, 4-Stroke, SOHC, 2-Valve |
Displacement | 113 cc |
Max Torque Represents the highest rotational force output by the engine, usually measured in Newton-meters (Nm) or pound-feet (lb-ft). It indicates the engine's pulling power. | 8.1 Nm @ 5000 rpm |
Cooling System Describes the method used to dissipate heat from the engine. Petrol bikes often use air-cooling or liquid-cooling systems to maintain optimal operating temperatures. | Air Cooled |
Starting Describes how the engine is initiated. Most petrol bikes use electric starters, kick starters, or both, to commence engine operation. | Kick and Self Start |
Fuel Supply | Carburetor |
Clutch Enables the rider to disconnect the engine from the transmission temporarily, allowing for gear changes and neutral operation. | Dry, Centrifugal Automatic |
Ignition | CDI |
Gear Box Indicates the arrangement of gears that transmit power from the engine to the wheels, allowing the rider to adjust speed and torque. | V-Belt Automatic |
Bore These measurements describe the diameter (bore) and length (stroke) of the cylinder in the engine. They directly affect an engine's performance characteristics. | 50 mm |
Stroke These measurements describe the diameter (bore) and length (stroke) of the cylinder in the engine. They directly affect an engine's performance characteristics. | 57.8 mm |
Compression Ratio Reflects the ratio of the maximum volume in the cylinder (when the piston is at the bottom) to the minimum volume (when the piston is at the top) during the engine cycle. Higher compression ratios generally lead to more efficient combustion. | 9.20:1 |
Features
Instrument Console This refers to the display panel on a petrol bike that shows essential information like speed, RPM, fuel level, and other indicators such as engine temperature and gear position. | Analogue |

- The Unknown Hero
This is the review of My Scooter Yamaha Alpha. It has been 5 long years it had been with me, but till today I am not having single problem with it. It had crossed around 40k kilometres in it's Odometer. I have drived it on the badest roads but it never loose hope and nor I. It has the longest seat in the segment. 3 people can comfortably sit on it. But I will not suggest you to do it. It gives a mileage of around 48km/l in City and around 52-55km/l on Highway. It has 113 cc Engine which produces 7.1 bhp and 8nm of Torque. Yes, I know the Engine is not that peppy but The Biggest Plus Point of the Engine is its Mid Range as you Throttle the Accelerator it gives the punch to you. It has a Boot Space of 21 ltr. Better than its rival. The suspension is Rigid which make u feel even small pot holes but makes it handling better on High speed.Read More
