6-Speed
Bore

These measurements describe the diameter (bore) and length (stroke) of the cylinder in the engine. They directly affect an engine's performance characteristics.

57 mm
Stroke

These measurements describe the diameter (bore) and length (stroke) of the cylinder in the engine. They directly affect an engine's performance characteristics.

    Good Bikes

All over bike is good but at comfort level, Yamaha needs to modify on this. The over-performance styling and riding experience is too good.

    Yamaha R15

If you have a love for racing bikes than I want to suggest R15, perfect bike for racing. I owned Yamaha R15 last year and I am satisfied. This bike is equipped with superior engine that generates sudden torque, when you accelerates it quite more you feel great, nice sound coming from the engine along with it generates nice mileage 45 kmpl. Its split seats are more comfortable for rider than person who sits at back. As its engine made for speed so it demands more attention towards it, time to time servicing is necessary for this bike, if you failed to do so then it would cost very much. BTW superb handling characteristics and its suspension helps to overcome road potholes very easily and comfortably. Its looks are very attractive. All body work is done with fibre which is a negative point. The main problem is with its chain, Its chain get loose repeatedly that is the biggest issue and it also has low tyre grip on wet roads. R15 - Changing the view of Sports Biking in India

Yamaha R15 was the first affordable sports bike in India which shared most of the styling bits with Yamaha’s much expensive bikes of the R series. R15 changed the view of sports biking in India. The looks and performance of this bike made it famous instantly and looking at its popularity and rising competition, Yamaha launched the second version of the bike named R15 Version 2.0. Being a fan of Yamaha R series bikes, R15 was the only affordable option for me. As compared to the previous model, R15 2.0 have a slightly different and better designing but I found the older one better because of its seating posture. The split seat gives a more richer look to the bike but makes it difficult for the pillion to sit comfortably. My friend owns a R15 and I have always heard good for the bike. It is well-balanced, have decent power, runs fast and performs well even on bumpy roads and bad weather conditions. Yamaha R series offers few of the best sports bikes and R15 is one of them with a price tag of just Rs. 1.3 lac. I have waited long to buy a bike and I will certainly purchase R15 one day.Read More
