- The Bajaj Discover 100 Is Commuter's Best ChoiceThe Bajaj Discover 100 is an impressive motorbike that deserves a solid 4-star rating. It is a great choice for those seeking a reliable and fuel-efficient commuter bike. One of the standout features of the Bajaj Discover 100 is its powerful engine. With a 100cc engine, it offers smooth acceleration and delivers ample torque for a bike in its class. This makes it perfect for city rides, allowing you to zip through traffic with ease. Another positive aspect of the Bajaj Discover 100 is its fuel efficiency. It has impressive mileage, which means you can go longer distances without worrying about frequent refueling stops. This is not only cost-effective but also convenient, especially for daily commutes or long rides. The bike's design is also worth mentioning. It has a sleek and sporty appearance that appeals to riders who prefer a stylish look. The ergonomics of the bike are well thought out, providing a comfortable riding experience even during long journeys. One area where the Bajaj Discover 100 could improve is the suspension. While it offers decent performance on smooth roads, it may struggle a bit on rough or uneven surfaces. However, this can be easily overlooked considering its overall performance and affordability. In conclusion, the Bajaj Discover 100 is an excellent choice for those seeking a reliable and fuel-efficient motorbike. With its impressive performance, stylish design, and affordable pricing, it deserves a solid 4-star rating.Read MoreWas this review helpful?3 2
- Comfortable BikeHi, I bought this bike in 2010 in Feb 2022 my bike completed 12 years, although my bike is very old my discover gives me 70kmpl since now. and maintenance-free. The top speed I achieved with my bike after 12 years is 95kmph. the seat is very comfortable. I drive my bike around 99000 km but I can smoke any 100cc bike with my bike without any hesitation without Yamaha RX 100. now I bought a royal Enfield continental GT 650. but when I go to buy some business products I use my discover.Read MoreWas this review helpful?1
- Good pick up and speed but not fuel efficient. It is a good bike especially in city conditions where you need to zip around in quick time. But it is poor on mileage,50 to 55 km.Cannot expect speed mileage and comfort together. The problem is Bajaj changes names of models at drop of a hat which leaved the customer confused about resale value. The same has been renamed Discover now.So need to concentrate on needless change of names.Read MoreWas this review helpful?
- Bajaj with another great Indian ProductHi Readers.. I just bought a Discover 125T (a new launch in the Bajaj's Discover product range) and I'm forced to write this review of this super awesome machine. I would say the best Discover ever or may be the best 125CC motorcycle. When I was thinking about buying my third motorcycle, I was like, "I need a city bike but with decent acceleration and power. Also, I want to ride long distances - May be a 200Km stretch once in a week". I had in mind Honda Shine, Passion X-Pro, Phoenix 125 or may be the Unicorn or the Pulsar. Took a test ride of the Sine, X-Pro and Unicorn. Felt something lacking in all - Didn't like Unicorn because of its mileage. I visited the Bajaj Showroom in the end since I have heard Bajaj Pulsar gives a better mileage than the Unicorn but, I was quite skeptical to walk into the showroom because I needed a 125cc bike and not a 150cc. Anyways, I just wanted to check out since I was about to take Honda Shine then. Oh! by the way, I owned a Hero Honda Passion 2007 model. When I walked in to the Bajaj showroom, I was not really interested in buying a motorcycle but I was rather checking out if Pulsar 150 or Discover 125 meet my requirements. The showroom sales executive asked "Sir, why do you need a motorcycle". I was like "What the !!". Then I understood he wanted to recommend a product to me according to my need and usage. But still, I asked him to show me Discover 125. He showed me three models of Discover 125. I never knew there is a new launch Discover 125T. He said its Tourer type. I was interested since this might be helpful for my long distance rides. He insisted me for a test ride whereas in other places, I had to request for a test-ride (May be a best thing about the showroom or Bajaj as a whole). The Test Ride I added this as a separate header because, I want you readers to take a test ride of this wonder bike. Half the distance, the test ride guy will be explaining you the Bike's features and I must say, this one has a hell a lot of technological stuff !!!. I was allowed to ride the second half of the distance and in that 200m drive, I fell in love with this bike. Wow!!! the engine and gear shifting was so smooth and even in bumps, I couldn't feel a thing - thanks to the gas nitro something (sorry i'm not sure) suspension. I now insisted "one more time" but now, its going to be me throughout the distance. The guy nodded and I happily went another round. My experience in the past 10 days My first concern - MILEAGE: I was told the mileage under standard conditions would be 77-80 Kmpl, and I did receive a stunning 72Kmpl (reserve to reserve). I ride it in extreme city conditions. I'm pretty sure that the worst case is around 66 - 70 Kmpl. A great mileage for this powerful bike POWER: I must talk about this because I kept hearing from the executive in the showroom that it gives 30% more power. I was wondering 30% on what. Still have not got an authentic answer but I suppose its 30% more that any other 125cc bike. For this kind of mileage, I should confess that THIS IS A POWERFUL BIKE both with my wife as pillion and even if I ride alone. I feel myself back to the 20s. And, apparently I'm 38 - may be not too far from the 20s!. And the top speed I have seen is 80Kmph but that is my top speed not the bike's. COMFORT: The gas filled double suspension at the back gives comfort to both the rider and the pillion and even when you are riding alone. Mark my words, "NO BACK PAIN". Also, i don't feel a jerk on bumps as even the front suspension is far better that any other bike I have tried like the Shine / Passion. STYLING: Of course this depends, but I like the big tank and sharp styling of the bike. OVERALL: The motorcycle may be "just a 125cc" is an exceptional machine for its price point and I would like to borrow the heritage of Bajaj to talk about its reliability. I love this bike and I strongly recommend it to EVERYONE (irrespective of age) if you want both power (13bhp) and mileage (70Kmpl on road) in a single machine and sorry if I have forgotten the awesome comfort and smoothness. HAPPY RIDING !!! This is Gopi signing off !!Read MoreWas this review helpful?
