We find out if Benelli’s most affordable ADV is worth the Rs 2.51 lakh price tag
The sub-400cc adventure bike segment has a strong fan-following in the Indian market. While the Hero XPulse 200 4V is the most affordable of the lot, the KTM 390 Adventure is the most expensive ADV in the segment. Last year, Benelli entered the segment with the TRK 251. We have thoroughly tested the motorcycle, and here’s everything you need to know about the Chinese bikemaker’s most affordable ADV:
Launch Story
In December 2021, the Benelli TRK 251 made its debut in the Indian market with a price tag of Rs 2.51 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). This is the most affordable ADV from the Itali-Chinese brand and takes on the likes of the KTM 250 Adventure.

The KTM 250 Adventure is more affordable than the Benelli TRK 251, but is it worth saving that extra money or should you go for Benelli’s ADV? We compared the images of the two motorcycles to help you take the call.
Review: Likes & Dislikes
The bikemaker’s most affordable ADV is here, but is it a little too late for the party? We have extensively tested the motorcycle and here’s what we liked and disliked about the bike, you can also check out our road test review with detailed images to check the review in a pictorial format.
Verdict
The Benelli TRK 251 is an expensive motorcycle if you consider what it has to offer. The 17-inch wheels with the road-focused tyres do not help with off-roading either. Even the gearbox isn’t smooth, further hampering your ride experience. So, if you are looking to do serious off-roading, the more affordable Royal Enfield Himalayan remains your best choice, while the KTM 250 Adventure is a good option if you intend to do mild off-roading.
