With manufacturing plants shut due to the enforced lockdown, production of the Hero Electric Optima E5 has been put on hold. We expect there to be a delay in deliveries of the Optima E5 after the lockdown ends as the components for the scooter that are imported from China may not arrive so soon. Hero Electric Optima E5 Motor:
The Hero Electric Optima E5 is powered by a 600W BLDC hub motor with a peak power rating of 1.2kW. The top speed of the scooter is 40kmph. Thanks to the 28AH lithium-ion batteries, it can cover 55km on a single charge.
Hero Electric Optima E5 Suspension & Brakes:
Underpinnings on the Hero Electric Optima E5 are pretty basic. It is based on an underbone frame with a telescopic fork and twin shocks handling suspension duties. 16-inch alloy wheels, drum brakes and CBS are offered as standard.
