The Destini Prime is a 125cc scooter from Hero MotoCorp that shares its engine with the Hero Destini 125 and delivers similar performance but is more stylish. The Destini Prime comes in vibrant colours with chrome highlights and is more affordable than the Destini 125. Additionally, it is also the cheapest 125cc scooter in the market.

Hero Destini Prime Price:

The Hero Destini Prime is available in a single variant and three colours including Nobel Red, Pearl Silver White and Metallic Nexus Blue. All three colour variants are priced at Rs 71,499 (ex-showroom Delhi), almost Rs 9,000 cheaper than the Destini 125.

Hero Destini Prime Features:

The Hero Destini Prime is equipped with a halogen headlamp with LED DRLs (daytime running lights) and bulb-type taillights and indicators. It features a semi-digital instrument cluster with an analogue speedometer and a digital inset displaying an odometer, trip meter, fuel gauge, clock and maintenance reminder. Under the seat, the scooter gets a boot light and a mobile charging port. It also gets an external fuel filler cap and has a 5-litre fuel tank.

Hero Destini Prime Engine:

The Hero Destini Prime shares the same 125cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine as the Destini 125. It produces a peak output of 9.09PS @ 7000rpm and 10.36Nm @ 5500rpm. It is paired with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT).

Hero Destini Prime Suspension, Brakes & Other Details:

The Hero Destini sits on the same frame as the Destini 125. It gets a telescopic front fork and a single rear shock. Braking is handled by 130mm drum brakes at both front and rear ends.  Equipped with 90-section tyres on both ends, it rides on 10-inch alloy wheels.

It has a low seat height of 778mm, which should be easily accessible to shorter riders. The Destini Prime has a 155mm ground clearance and a kerb weight of 115kg.

The Destini Prime has a sleek and modern design. It looks elegant and comes in three vibrant colours including Nobel Red, Pearl Silver White and Metallic Nexus Blue. Its smooth curves and attractive colours make it stand out. Its curvy lines and attractive colour options make it an eye-catcher on the road. The chrome accents and alloy wheels complement the overall design.

At the front, it gets apron-mounted indicators and DRLs (daytime running lights), along with a chrome panel that joins both indicators. The rear-view mirrors match the scooter’s body panels' colour. It gets a spacious seat with a single-piece grabrail and an external fuel filler cap.

The Hero Destini Prime has the same 125cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine as the Destini 125 that makes 9.09PS and 10.36Nm. It is paired with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). The 125cc engine has enough power for everyday commuting. It smoothly rides through city traffic and also provides decent real-world tested mileage of 61.6kmpl in the city, but it is not that efficient on the highway, with a mileage of 49.19kmpl. It gets a 5-litre fuel tank.

Handling is one of the key highlights of the scooter. The Destini Prime is lightweight and changes directions quickly. It effortlessly rides through traffic.     Self start of destiny prome stop working sometimes
    I have purchased Hero Destiniy Prime in May 2024. In July self start was not workinh properly. The workshop recharge the battery and service done (paid). In Oct-Nov 2024 once again the self start not working, display not working, speedometer not working and kick start working like second hand vehicle. the workshop again taken it for service (paid) with fault in battery which have been under process of exchange with new battery due to within waranty period. the exchange process takes almost one week, till then the second hand battery is being used. one more thing there is very less space under the seat, even putting helmet under the seat crating problem with bulb lightening inside when vehicle is on rest. it drain the battery charge while rest which is also one reason for self start not working in morning.
