    Hero Xoom 125R Summary

    The Hero Xoom 125R was spied testing in India. The scooter comes with a stylish design, large 14-inch wheels and may get the same 124.6cc engine as the Hero Destini 125.

    The Hero Xoom 125R was unveiled at the 2023 EICMA show in Milan, Italy. It is Hero’s answer to the popular 125cc sporty scooter segment. We think it could be launched by the 2024 festive season, around October. 

    The Xoom 125R comes with a sharp, youthful design, and is powered by a new 125cc engine. While the output figures aren’t revealed, we know that the Xoom 125 gets a telescopic fork, a rear monoshock, 14-inch alloy wheels with MRF Zapper tyres, disc brake up front and a drum at the rear. Also, the Xoom 125R comes with segment-first sequential LED indicators. Other notable features include an all-LED lighting and a full-LCD instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation.

    The Hero Xoom 125R could be launched with a price tag of about Rs 80,000 - Rs 90,000 (ex-showroom). It will go up against the Aprilia SR 125, TVS NTorq 125, Suzuki Avenis and the Yamaha RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid.
