The Honda CB650R shares its engine 649cc, liquid-cooled, inline-4-cylinder engine with the CBR650R, which makes 95PS at 12,000rpm and 63Nm at 9,500rpm, and is paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch. 

What are the underpinnings of the Honda CB650R?

The Honda CB650R is built on the same chassis as its faired sibling, the CBR650R, a twin spar frame. The suspension setup is the same as well and consists of a Showa Separate Function Big Piston inverted fork and a pre-load adjustable monoshock. Brakes include twin 310mm discs with four piston calipers at the front and a single 240mm disc brake at the rear with a single-piston caliper. It gets 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends, has a seat height of 810mm and weighs in at 206kg kerb.

The Honda CB650R gets all-LED lighting and a 5-inch TFT screen. The TFT display is smartphone compatible with Honda's RoadSync app, enabling riders to receive call and SMS alerts, and display turn-by-turn navigation. For added safety, the bike is equipped with dual-channel ABS and a switchable traction control system.
