Honda Activa 4G: A Decent Scooter, But Not the Bes
Honda Activa 4G: A Decent Scooter, But Not the Bes
I have owned a Honda Activa 4G for the past few years and, while it has its good points, I have to say that it's not the best scooter out there. In particular, when compared to the TVS Jupiter, I think the Activa 4G falls short in several key areas.
First and foremost, I find the Activa 4G's engine to be underpowered, especially when going up hills or overtaking other vehicles on the road. It just doesn't have the same level of acceleration and top speed as Jupiter, which can make for a less comfortable riding experience.
Another area where I think the Jupiter outshines the Activa 4G is in terms of ride quality. While the Activa 4G is generally comfortable to ride, it can feel a bit bumpy and unstable on rough roads. In contrast, Jupiter's larger wheels and better suspension system make for a smoother ride, which is especially noticeable on longer journeys.
Finally, I think that the build quality of the Activa 4G is not quite up to par with Jupiter. While it is a durable scooter and has held up well over the years, I have noticed some minor issues with parts like the brakes and fuel tank that suggest that it may not be as well-made as some of its competitors.
All that being said, I don't want to completely write off the Activa 4G. It has its advantages, such as good fuel efficiency and a relatively low maintenance cost. Plus, it's a well-known and trusted brand with a large network of service centers, which can make getting repairs and maintenance easier.
However, if I were in the market for a new scooter today, I would probably choose the TVS Jupiter over the Activa 4G. I think it offers a more comfortable and enjoyable ride, with better performance and build quality overall.

- Best Scooter In This Price RangeActiva 4g was the last active worth for its price. 5g and 6g are overpriced. it provides great mileage and ride comfort. But it is not appropriate for long rides, it is really uncomfortable sitting on it for more than 2 hours.Read MoreWas this review helpful?
