The Honda QC 1 has only been unveiled for now. It will be launched in January 2025, which is when the prices shall be announced. The deliveries for the Honda QC 1 will begin in February 2025. However, we expect it to be priced around Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Honda QC 1 comes in five colour options which are: Pearl Serenity Blue, Pearl Misty White, Matt Foggy Silver Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, and Pearl Shallow Blue. 

 

What is the battery and range of Honda QC 1?

The Honda QC 1 gets a 1.5kWh battery which Honda claims will provide a range of 80km. The QC 1 gets a non-removable battery pack which can be charged in 6 hours and 50 minutes from 0 to 100 percent with a 330w off-board charger.  

 

What are the specifications of the Honda QC 1?

The Honda QC 1’s hub-mounted motor makes 1.8kW and 77Nm. Honda claims it will accelerate from 0 to 40kmph in 9.4 seconds, and has a top speed of 50kmph. It gets an all-new underbone chassis. The suspension consists of a telescopic fork and hydraulic shock absorbers. The scooter gets a 90/90-12 tyre at the front and a 90/100-10-inch tyre at the rear, with alloy wheels. It gets a 130mm drum brake at the front and a 110mm drum brake at the rear. The underseat storage is 26 litres. The Honda QC 1 weighs in at 89.5kg kerb and has a ground clearance of 169mm. 

 

What features does the Honda QC 1 get?

The Honda QC 1 top variant gets a 5-inch LCD instrument cluster which can be controlled using toggle switches on the handlebar. The scooter will get two riding modes: Econ and Standard, which will affect the range and performance of the scooter. The scooter gets a 40w USB-C charging socket on the front apron to charge your phone while riding. It also has two small cubby holes where you can store small items. .  

 

Is the Honda QC 1 available in my city?

The Honda QC 1 will be available in all major cities in India eventually and will be sold through their dealerships. However, to start with, Honda will start selling the electric scooter in Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore.

The Honda QC 1 once launched will go against the likes of TVS iQube, Ola S1, Bajaj Chetak and the Ather 450S.
