Honda Forza 350

Honda has just patented the Forza 350 in India, though the chances of it coming to India are remote. Here’s why. 

The Honda Forza 350 features a 279cc liquid-cooled motor that offers 25PS and 27.2Nm. More details about the new maxi-scooter here. It features an LED lighting setup, semi-digital instrument cluster, and an electronically adjustable windscreen. Thanks to its touring orientation, you get oodles of underseat storage that can hold up to two full-face helmets. A 12-volt socket and underseat USB charger means you can charge your phone on the go. 

The Honda Forza 350 draws power from a 279cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected motor that offers 25PS and 27.2Nm. The motor features VVT (Variable Valve Timing) which offers better low, mid and top-end performance just like the R15 V3. It also gets Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) that works on the lines of a traction control system, monitoring the wheel speed and slip ratio and accordingly controlling engine torque to regain rear wheel traction. 

In terms of hardware, the Forza 300 uses a 33mm telescopic fork and twin rear shock absorbers with 7-stage preload adjustability. Anchoring the maxi-scooter is a single 256mm disc brake up front and 240mm rear disc brake with dual-channel ABS. Its 15-inch front and 14-inch rear wheels come wrapped in 120/70-section front and a fat 140/70-section rear tyre. 

Now, as we’ve established, the Forza 350 won’t be coming here anytime soon. So if you’re looking for a true ‘maxi-scooter’ experience, you could go for the Keeway Vieste 300. Or, if you have the budget for it, the BMW C 400 GT. Ultimately, though, the Yamaha Aerox 155 is the best bet for those looking for a performance-oriented scooter at a relatively affordable price.
