The Hero Lectro C5 is a mid-range electric bicycle designed for short-distance commutes. It combines the convenience of an electric two-wheeler and a bicycle. It can also be used as a leisure bicycle for physical workouts as it comes with conventional pedals.

The Hero Lectro C5 is offered at a starting price of Rs 30,999 (on-road). This electric bicycle is available in two colour options: black with red graphics and black with light blue graphics.

Hero Lectro C5 Key Features

As a basic bicycle with the assist of an electric powertrain, the Hero Lectro C5 comes with a basic-looking digital LED display for speed on the handlebar. The electric cycle can be ridden in one of the four unique modes depending on the rider's preference: Pedal, Cruise, Pedalec, and Throttle (pure electric mode).

Hero Lectro C5 Motor and Battery

The Hero Lectro C5 comes equipped with a 5.8Ah in-tube battery, along with a hub-mounted 250W BLDC motor. Capable of producing 40Nm at the wheel, this BLDC motor enables the Hero Lectro C5 to attain a claimed top speed of upto 25 kmph in pure electric mode. The bicycle comes with a single-speed gear.

The Hero Lectro C5's battery can deliver a claimed range of 30 km in the pedelec mode and 25 km in the pure electric mode. It takes four hours to fully charge.

Hero Lectro C5 Suspension And Brakes

The Hero Lectro C5 comes with a rigid steel frame without suspension at both ends. The 27.5-inch spoke wheels of the C5 come with tube-type tyres. For braking, the Hero Electro C5 has mechanical disc brake rotors at both ends.
