2016 Triumph Speed Triple R Spotted at dealership
The upgraded version of the Triumph Speed Triple R has been spotted at a dealership before its official launch. Expectedly, the manufacturer is planning to launch it in 2016.

The 2016 version of this machine will undergo both cosmetic and technical upgrades. The new bike gets new radiator side panels, the new fuel tank, re-designed seat and a newly designed underbelly pan. The exhaust has also been updated that might reduce the emission. There is a noticeable change in the fly screen, the new model will get central air scoop just above the headlamps.

Apart from looks, the bike is equipped with various safety and advanced features including traction control, electronically ride-by- wire system and multiple engine modes. The new version of Speed Triple R is upgraded to high spec Ohlins suspensions for its top-end model while the base variant will get Showa units. The braking capacity of the machine will be enhanced by Brembo brake calipers.
On the account of powering, the bike is expected to be equipped with a 1050cc three-cylinder motor, same as the current model which churns out a maximum power of 140bhp. It is expected that the new bike engine could get the hike from 133 bhp to 140 bhp in terms of power.
The spy shots clearly state that the bike has reached the Triumph dealership, but the reasons behind the bike’s arrival are not clear yet.
