2020 Benelli TNT 600i Unveiled At EICMA
The 600cc naked is not Euro-5/ BS6 compliant though, so it won’t make it to India
Benelli has unveiled the new MY2020 TNT 600i at EICMA. This mid-capacity sports naked gets a new headlamp and new instrument console. However, we will not be getting this model in India.
The new TNT 600i gets a new LED headlamp and slimmer turn indicators that lend the motorcycle a more modern look. It gets a sleek looking TFT digital instrument console that replaces the previous semi-digital unit. In addition, the new TNT 600i is available in two colours: green and white. The bodywork and 15-litre fuel tank remain unchanged. With these updates, the TNT 600i weighs 3kg more than before.

The new TNT 600i uses the same Euro-4 inline-four motor as before. It delivers the same 61.8PS at 11500rpm now but makes 51Nm at 10500rpm, which is 3.6Nm less than before. It comes with a six-speed gearbox.

Even the underpinnings remain unchanged. The TNT 600i gets a trellis frame, with 50mm upside-down forks and monoshock. Braking is via dual 320mm discs with radially-mounted callipers and a 260mm rear disc.
The new TNT 600i will not come to India as it is still a Euro-4 model and with the BS6 emission norms coming into effect in April 2020, it does not make sense for Benelli to import the new model here. In fact, Benelli will not be selling the new TNT 600i in Europe. We do hope Benelli updates the new TNT 600i with a Euro-5/ BS6 compliant motor, which will allow them to launch it in India.
