2020 Harley Davidson Street Rod Receives A Massive Price Cut

Interested customers can book the bike for a token amount of up to Rs 10,000

The BS6-compliant Harley-Davidson Street Rod gets a massive price cut. You can now get your hands on the bike for Rs 5,99,000 -- that’s Rs 56,500 less than before. The offer is applicable across all Harley-Davidson dealerships in India for a limited time period. The offer has been rolled out to make the bike more desirable and to rake in some numbers. Normally, the bike would set you back by Rs 6,55,500 (both prices ex-showroom).  Customers can book the bike for a token amount of up to Rs 10,000. It’s available in four liveries: black, grey, white and a bright performance orange which costs an additional Rs 68,500.

Customer’s who’d like to pick up the Street Rod on finance can put down a down payment of 15 per cent and avail a loan amount of 85 per cent on the bike's price. The rate of interest stands at 11 per cent per annum irrespective of the tenure, be it three, four or five years. 

The Street Rod is essentially a sportier sibling of the BS6 Street 750. And even though both bikes use the same 749cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine, the Street Rod makes 65Nm of peak torque compared to 60Nm on the Street 750 thanks to its higher compression ratio. In terms of underpinnings, the Street 750 comes equipped with an upside-down fork and twin gas-charged rear shock absorbers. Its braking setup comprises a twin front disc setup, as opposed to a single disc in the Street 750.
