2020 Royal Enfield Classic 350 Spied With A Bigger Engine!
The new Classic 350 also gets a redesigned chassis and modern features!
This is the third time the test mule was spotted. A closer look confirms that it might sport a bigger capacity engine. India launch likely in early 2020.The 2020 Royal Enfield Classic 350 has been spied on test yet again, revealing an all-new double cradle frame instead of single downtube frame. Along with there's also a revised rear brake lever, which is now routed above the revised footpegs, as well as what looks like a bigger engine. The cylinder head on the motor powering the test mule appears to be bigger than before, which leads us to believe that it might be a new unit with a displacement ranging from 350cc to 400cc engine. Also, the engine case on the test mule is similar to that of the company’s 650cc motor.
Even the gearbox casing on the left looks similar to the one seen on the Interceptor 650, suggesting that the updated engine could share the same 6-speed transmission as its 650cc cousins. While we were expecting Royal Enfield to equip the updated motorcycle with fuel-injection, that may not be the case anymore. Further inspection of the spy shots reveals the lack of an oxygen sensor on the exhaust, which suggests that fuel-injection is most likely out of the equation. However, the 2020 Classic 350 could still become the first bike from Royal Enfield to comply with upcoming BS6 emission norms.

No, we won’t blame you for mistaking the new motorcycle with the current-gen one. It continues to maintain the same retro-classic trademark design associated with Royal Enfield’s Classic series. While we initially expected the motorcycle to come equipped with LED lighting, new spy shots reveal that it will continues to sport the current setup.
So when can we see one in the flesh? We expect the Chennai-based manufacturer to launch the new Classic 350 by early 2020 with a price tag of around Rs 1.70 lakh to Rs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom).
