The 2021 iteration of the Dominar 400 comes with a host of touring-friendly accessories. Check out the detailed images here

Bajaj Auto updated its popular tourer, the Bajaj Dominar 400, with touring-friendly accessories for 2021.

With these factory-fitted bits, the Dominar 400 should be an even better mile muncher than before. We got our hands on the detailed images of the motorcycle, take a look:

Overall, the 2021 Bajaj Dominar 400 looks more butch than before, thanks to the extra bits like the touring screen, knuckle guards, reinforced crash guards, and tail rack with cushioned backrest.

The tall smoked windscreen should help in reducing rider fatigue due to wind blast at higher speeds. It also comes with vents at the bottom to reduce buffeting.

The motorcycle also comes with plastic knuckle guards with aerodynamic louvres. This should help deflect the wind away from the rider’s hands, making it perfect for cold-weather riding. That said, the crash protection afforded by them will be nowhere near the full-length, properly braced aluminium knuckle guards.

For extra convenience, the bike comes with a USB port with a flap to prevent water ingression. This complements the phone mount up top. The brace for the phone mount is located just behind the handlebar, so that it protects the phone from dust and debris while riding.

For extra protection, the motorcycle comes with a reinforced crash guard with extra bracing on the sides to protect the radiator cover. The steel appears to be much thicker than the previous iteration’s stock crash guard.

To protect the underside from dust and debris, the 2021 Dominar 400 comes with a factory-fitted bash plate. The metal plate covers the frontal area whereas the sides are protected by a plastic cowl.

The stock grab rail has been replaced with a much larger unit that comes with an integrated tail rack, mounting points for the side panniers, as well as a cushioned backrest. The new backrest should improve pillion comfort considerably, while also helping the pillion sit more securely.

With all these accessories, the 2021 Bajaj Dominar 400 costs just Rs 4,493 more than its predecessor, making it great value for money for what it offers. Would you buy one? Let us know in the comments below.
