2021 Benda LFC700 Cruiser: Photo Gallery

Here’s a closer look at Benda’s mammoth 700cc cruiser motorcycle that puts the Kawasaki Vulcan S to shame

Benda Motorcycles has launched the LFC700 cruiser, essentially the production version of Benda’s LF-01 concept bike revealed last year, in its home country, China.



A key reason for  the LF-01’s popularity was its striking futuristic design and the LFC700 looks exactly like the LF-01. Up front you get a round LED headlamp which also works as an air intake, boasting a turbine-like design.



Towards the middle, the Benda stays true to its cruiser tag featuring a swept 20-litre fuel tank, a low 695mm single-piece seat, and a wide, flat handlebar with bar-end mirrors.


Adding to the LFC700’s appeal is its radical tail section featuring a vertical LED tail light and a massive 310-section rear tyre.



The overall design of the LFC700 is pretty sleek for a hefty cruiser weighing 235kg.



Benda’s 700cc cruiser comes in two colours -- a black/grey option and a white/neon green. We are inclined towards the latter.

Benda is offering the LFC700 in two variants, standard and higher-power. Both variants use the same Euro 5-compliant 680cc inline-four liquid-cooled engine. The standard variant puts out 86PS and 60Nm whereas the higher-spec variant pumps out 94PS and 63Nm. In addition, the higher power variant also features a slip-and-assist clutch. The two models boast claimed top speeds of 170kmph and 190kmph, respectively.


Along with differences in power, the two models also get different underpinnings. The base model is suspended on in-house built springs coupled to Nissin radial calipers with dual front discs. Meanwhile, the top model rides on a KYB fork and monoshock with Brembo brakes.



Thankfully, there are no variants in the features. Both bikes get a TFT instrument cluster and all-LED illumination. Sadly, cruise control and ride-by-wire, present on the LF-01 concept, have been skipped, probably to keep costs in check.

Speaking of cost, the prices of the LFC700 start at CNY 48,500 (approximately Rs 5.27 lakh). If Benda was to bring the LFC in India at this price, it’d certainly sweep the floor with its similarly priced rivals. But the chances of that happening are as high as the chances of you getting a knee down on this.
