2021 Honda TMX 125 Alpha Launched In The Philippines
The 125cc commuter can deliver up to 62.5kmpl
Honda has introduced three new colours for the TMX 125 Alpha in the Philippines -- Ruby Red, Matte Armored Silver Metallic, and Black. The bike has been in the international market since 2014, and we must say it reminds us of the legendary Hero Honda CD 100.
Honda has kept the TMX 125 Alpha absolute barebones. It’s powered by an air-cooled, carburetted 125cc single-cylinder motor that’s mated to a 5-speed gearbox and makes 10.13PS and 9.3Nm. It gets a front and rear drum brake setup, while suspension duties are handled by a telescopic fork and twin rear shocks.

The bike has an analogue console, and you don’t even get a fuel gauge. To check the fuel level, all you can do is take off the fuel cap, shake the motorcycle, and peep in the tank. Or, just wait for the bike to hit reserve. With a finely tuned carb, the Honda TMX 125 manages to squeeze around 62.5kmpl.
The Honda TMX 125 Alpha costs PHP 51,400 in the Philippines (approximately Rs 78,350). But the news is that the company will not bring the bike to India. However, if you are looking for a 125cc two-wheeler between Rs 70,000 and Rs 80,000, you can check out the Honda SP 125 and the Hero Glamour.
