2021 KTM RC 125: Same Price, Other Options
Top 5 bikes to choose from for a similar price as the new RC 125
KTM has launched the 2021 RC 125 in India at a mind-boggling price of Rs 1,81,913 (ex-showroom Delhi), making it around Rs 2,000 dearer than before. The RC 125 has always been an expensive offering and hence, there is a dearth of options to choose from for the same budget. Here are a few:
Royal Enfield Classic 350 - Rs 1.84 lakh
Priced at Rs 1.84 lakh onwards, the 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 is one of the most popular bikes in India. Its retro looks paired with the 349cc J-series thumper motor makes for a proper chilled riding experience. Torque is abundant but thankfully, the harsh thumper vibes are absent. Yamaha YZF-R15M - Rs 1.77 lakh
Another baby supersport alternative to the 2021 KTM RC 125 is the new Yamaha YZF-R15M. It’s not only more powerful than the RC 125 but also packs more features with its Bluetooth compatible digital console. It also gets traction control and an upshift only quickshifter as a standard fitment from the factory. Click here to check out its latest price.
KTM 200 Duke - Rs 1.85 lakh
If you wish to stick within the KTM folklore, the ever-charming 200 Duke is a comparatively more value for money offering. At Rs 1.85 lakh, you get a 200cc motor dishing out 25.83PS and 19.5Nm. Revamped in 2020, the KTM 200 Duke continues to be a hoot to ride, both in the city and on spirited weekend rides.
Honda H’ness CB350 - Rs 1.94 lakh
The Honda H’ness CB350 is the perfect antithesis of the RC 125. It’s got a long-stroke easy-revving motor that wants to fill that area of your heart that longs for a retro Honda motorcycle. It too gets Bluetooth connectivity, traction control as well as LED headlights. You can read about it in detail here.
Jawa 42 2.1 - Rs 1.91 lakh
Last but not least, the Jawa 42.1 has also made it to the 2021 KTM RC 125’s alternatives list. It costs Rs 1,91,142 and gets a 293cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled motor. The engine is quite tractable and the twin-port exhausts make for a melodious note. Overall, the bike too looks very charming. Read our full review for more details.
