2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 Spotted, Looks Launch-ready
India’s most popular thumper will be available in multiple variants at different price points to cater to buyers with varying budgets
[UPDATE: The 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 has been launched in India. To know the pricing, specifications and other details, head to our launch story here.]
The upcoming 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 has been spotted undisguised in new colours. It will likely get similar drum and disc brake variants for dual-channel and single-channel ABS models. Will pack the same engine from the Meteor 350.New images of the 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 have emerged, revealing new details. The bike was also spotted last month with the new Tripper navigation-equipped semi-digital instrument cluster. This time around, the 2021 Classic 350 looks more production-ready, meaning its launch is right around the corner, probably next month.
Coming to the pictures, the new images reveal two new shades for the bike. One has a dark teal finish with fresh graphics on the tank, pinstripes on the fenders, and a dark brown single seat along with a rear disc brake. Then, we have a grey shade with black fenders and no graphics, which is probably the more affordable single-channel ABS variant with a rear drum brake. Sadly, RE has bid adieu to the iconic sprung seat on the 2021 Classic 350, which is a bummer.
Meanwhile, another shade of the Classic 350 was spotted at a TVC shoot, which is similar to the Stormrider Sand colour option. It also features swanky alloy wheels (which will probably be an accessory) and matte black mechanicals.
This means the 2021 Classic 350 will probably have a similar spread of variants like the current model, i.e. single-channel ABS and dual-channel ABS with various colour options at different price points. Also, the braking setup is now positioned on the right side, just like on the Meteor 350.
Another thing we can spot in these images is the re-shaped pillion seat. Compared to before, it has tapered edges to aid in pillion comfort. Expect them to get softer padding too.
All of this is topped by a new instrument cluster which finally gets a digital inset. Interestingly, though, unlike the last set of images, the Tripper navigation pod has RE badging instead. This could mean the Tripper navigation will only be sold as an option.
Along with this, the Classic 350 will also employ the crispier new 349cc single-cylinder engine producing 20.4PS and 27Nm.
Royal Enfield will surely charge a little more money for all the extra snazz. We expect the 2021 Classic 350 to be about Rs 10,000 pricier than the current model.
Nevertheless, with these updates, the Classic 350 will only get better in the eyes of its fans, resulting in higher sales numbers.
