Keep your cheque books ready as the second phase of bookings of the new Hayabusa is all set to commence tomorrow!

Bookings will open for a token amount of Rs 1 lakh. Customers will have to choose the colour variants in advance along with submitting the necessary paperwork. Expect deliveries to commence in the weeks ahead.

Suzuki has announced the second phase of bookings of the 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa will commence on the brand’s official website at 10am. The booking amount stands at Rs 1 lakh, and the motorcycle retails at Rs 16,40,000 (ex-showroom India). Expect deliveries to commence in the following weeks. It’s available in three colours: Glass Sparkle Black/Candy Burnt Gold, Metallic Matte Sword Silver/Candy Daring Red, and Pearl Brilliant White/Metallic Matte Stellar Blue.

Customers will have to fill in the details such as the location, colour of the bike, personal details (including PAN card, address proof), payment mode and dealership name. We’d recommend you take due care while entering the details. If there’s a mismatch or if you chose the colour wrongly, the booking will be treated as cancelled, and you will incur a cancellation charge of Rs 25,000, and the remaining booking amount will be refunded.

There were 101 bikes in the first batch, so expect a similar number of bikes to be offered in the second batch as well. Having said that, the first batch received a pillion cowl for free, whereas one might have to pay extra to avail one in the second batch. Apart from the pillion cowl, Suzuki also offers other optional accessories such as a touring windscreen, rear view mirror covers, tank pad, rim stickers, luggage hook, and a front axle slider.

If you’re planning on buying one, we’d recommend you keep the browser window and all the necessary information ready to upload, as the bikes in the first batch were sold out in just a day. At its price, the 2021 iteration is just Rs 2.65 lakh dearer than its predecessor. And for such a small premium, Suzuki offers a much more wholesome hyperbike, complete with all the electronic aids to help both expert and inexperienced riders alike.
