2021 Yamaha XSR155 Gets A Tasteful Green Colour Scheme
The neo-retro bike is offered in a new Matte Green Authentic colour scheme in Indonesia
No mechanical changes made to the bike. It costs the same as before. Looks much better than the new Dark Grey colour introduced in the Thai market.Yamaha Indonesia has launched a new colour scheme for its popular neo-retro bike, the Yamaha XSR155. Called Matte Green Authentic, this colour looks a lot more elegant than the Dark Grey version recently introduced in Thailand and comes at no extra cost. In Indonesia, the Yamaha XSR 155 is priced at IDR 36,580,000 (on road Jakarta), approximately Rs 1.89 lakh.
The matte green colour scheme on the bodywork is complemented by a tasteful tapering white pinstripe on the fuel tank with the bold Yamaha logo, also in white. Like the Premium Matte Silver colour variant, this one too gets a tan seat cover. Only the Matte Black Elegance colour option comes with a black coloured seat. The side panels feature a brushed metal finish, unlike the black ones with the other two colour options.
Yamaha has not made any mechanical changes to the motorcycle. It is powered by a Yamaha R15 V3-derived 155cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) technology. It churns out 19.3PS at 10,000rpm and 14.7Nm at 8500rpm. Notable features include LED headlamp and tail lamp, a fully digital instrument cluster, and an assist-and-slipper clutch. It does not get ABS even as an option as the regulations in the country do not warrant one in its segment.
