The supersport range features a bunch of technical and aesthetic updates

Ducati has continued with its launch streak with the debut of the 2022 Panigale V4 range in India. The Standard has been priced at Rs 26,49,000 while the ‘S’ demands Rs 31,99,00 and the SP2 will set you back by Rs 40,99,000 (all prices ex-showroom Delhi). Here’s a lowdown on the new Panigale V4 range:

The 2022 Ducati Panigale V4 range features new graphics for the Standard and the ‘S’ trims, with the latter even getting new rim stickers.

The new Panigale V4 range now gets lighter and more compact winglets which generate 37kg of downforce at 300kmph.

Ducati has made changes to the fairing of the Panigale V4 as well. The new slats at the bottom of the fairing are aimed at cooling the engine. The lower fairing on the right side now has an opening that is claimed to keep the quickshifter sensor cool for optimum functioning.

The 2022 Ducati Panigale V4’s fuel tank and seat have been redesigned. While the tank now tapers even more and has an increased capacity of 1 litre, the seat is now flatter to allow riders to have a better control under hard braking.

The new Panigale V4 range comes with a comprehensive electronics suite and for 2022, the Italian marque has further improved the system. The new Full and Low power modes have been newly designed while the High and Medium configurations have been reprogrammed.

The Panigale V4 SP2 comes in the sinister Winter Test livery with the brushed aluminium fuel tank.

For 2022, the Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 features forged magnesium wheels which are claimed to be 0.9kg lighter.  Interestingly, the international-spec model has carbonfibre wheels instead of the magnesium ones.

The 2022 Panigale V4 also flaunts an updated instrument console with the new ‘Track Evo’ info mode.

The Ducati Panigale V4 range goes up against the likes of the BMW S 1000 RR, Aprilia RSV4 1100 and the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R in our market.
