2022 Kawasaki Z900 Launched At Rs 8.42 Lakh
It is just a model year update for the inline four naked Kwacker
The Kawasaki Z900 has enjoyed quite a bit of success In India, and now the 2022 model of the naked motorcycle is here. Launched late last night, it arrives at an unchanged Rs 8.42 lakh (ex-showroom India) sticker, and there’s a good reason why.

No new colours, no new styling elements, no change in performance and no new tech to boast of. Therefore, it still sports the same price tag it got after the revision in August, the only change it has witnessed since its BS6 version.
Thankfully, the Z900 remains one of the easiest ways to own an inline-four motorcycle. Agreed, the 948cc inline-four potter may not be the most intoxicating engine we have ever ridden, but what it does well is play an enticing soundtrack on every single one of your rides.
The BS6 version did get a few riding aids (rider modes and traction control only) and a Bluetooth-enabled colour TFT dash. It also came shod with a new pair of Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport 2 tyres. Having experienced the same rubber on the smaller Z650, we think that getting a set of grippier rubber would be a wise investment once you buy the Z900, as the Roadsport 2s aren’t quite capable of holding their own.
Compared to its rivals, like the Triumph Street Triples and the Ducati Monster, the Kawasaki is still the more affordable option.
