2022 KTM 390 Adventure Reaches Dealerships
The updated ADV bike is expected to be officially launched soon.
The 2022 KTM 390 Adventure has started reaching dealerships across the country after its global unveiling in December 2021. The adventure motorcycle will be launched in the coming few weeks, most likely commanding a marginal premium over the existing model priced at Rs 3.28 lakh (ex-showroom).
The updated 2022 KTM 390 Adventure remains unchanged mechanically but flaunts new paint schemes, which are more attractive in comparison to older ones, and gets electronic upgrades. It now comes in two colour schemes: black with orange-coloured graphics and orange with teal graphics and highlights.
The 2022 KTM 390 ADV still continues to offer two traction control modes: Street and Off-road, which allows the bike to reduce slippage and adjust it according to the terrain, offering a more comfortable offroading experience. Unlike the previous model, the updated traction control stays activated for a brief period in case of crash or stall, whereas the previous model used to reset to Street mode by default.

These wheels claim to offer improved resistance and stiffness, offering a better off roading experience. However, there is no sign of spoke wheels as part of the official catalogue.
Other than this, the bike more or less remains the same and is powered by the same engine as the previous model: 373cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, mated to a six-speed transmission with slipper clutch, churning out 43.5PS and 37Nm. The bike features the same non-adjustable suspension and braking hardware as the previous models.
The flagship KTM ADV will be launching in the country in the coming weeks and will compete against the Royal Enfield Himalayan and BMW G310 GS.
