2024 Bajaj Pulsar F250 Launched In India, Price Is Rs 1.51 Lakh

Gets a lot of new features as the Pulsar N250 but misses out on a key aspect

Bajaj Auto has been bringing new updates to their lineup and now they have launched the 2024 Bajaj Pulsar F250 in India. The updated bike has hit dealerships and is offered at an ex-showroom Delhi price of Rs 1,50,891, which is a small premium of Rs 851 over the previous generation Pulsar F250. Interestingly, the price difference between the old and new Pulsar N250 is also the same.

Bajaj had hinted at the possibility of an update to the Pulsar F250 during the Pulsar NS400Z launch. The 2024 Pulsar F250 comes with quite a few  changes to its features and underpinnings. That said, it does not get the inverted fork which the Pulsar N250 has, which is disappointing.  

One of the first changes that can be easily noticed is the addition of new graphics. The black colour scheme now features new red and grey graphics which add a bit of style to the bike. But other than the addition of the new graphics, there hasn’t been any other changes made to the bike’s design.

In terms of features, Bajaj has equipped the bike with a fully digital instrument console. The console is the same as one on the Bajaj Pulsar N250 and it also comes with smartphone connectivity complete with features such as Call/SMS alerts and turn-by-turn navigation. It also offers other regular information, including speed, time, fuel level, trip meter and odometer readings, distance-to-empty (DTE) and mileage readouts. 

The left-hand side switchgear has been reworked and now comes with an additional button to navigate through the console and the new features.

Coming to the underpinnings, the first is the addition of new petal discs at both ends, but the sizes are the same, 300mm front and 230mm rear. Other changes include wider tyres at both ends now, with 110-section front and 140-section rear as opposed to 100-section front and 130-section rear tyre.

Other than these updates, there hasn’t been any changes made to the bike’s performance. It is still powered by the same 249.07cc air/oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine which produces 24.5PS and 21.5Nm.

Overall, this update is a bit disappointing as Bajaj hasn’t brought a lot of changes that we were expecting. The addition of an inverted fork would have improved the bike’s handling and would’ve also made the F250 look a lot more premium.

The Pulsar F250 goes up against other bikes like the Hero Karizma XMR and the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250. Other alternatives include the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V.
