2024 Kawasaki Ninja 300 Launched At Rs 3.43 lakh
While it costs the same as before, it has received just this 1 small update
Kawasaki has launched the 2024 Ninja 300 in India for Rs 3.43 lakh, ex-showroom India. And that means the cheapest Ninja in India costs the same as before. So what’s new for this price?
Well, Kawasaki has mainly updated the graphics on the baby Ninja’s colour schemes. For starters, the Lime Green colour scheme’s ‘300’ graphics on the tank are now in green with a new ‘Ninja’ badging on the fairing too. This one does look a bit brighter than the older Lime Green colourway.
While the Kawasaki Ninja 300’s Candy Lime Green paint scheme has remained the same, the Metallic Moondust Grey now has grey bodywork with red stripes on the headlight cowl, fairing, rims and even the pillion seat. Now while it does look nice and a bit fresh since it’s different from Kawasaki’s usual green paint schemes, the bike hasn’t been changed at all otherwise. It’s still powered by the same 296cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that still makes 39PS and 26.1Nm. Design, underpinnings and features, all of it has remained the same.
Given that the bike has remained pretty much the same over the years, it is dated. And when you factor in the rather exorbitant Rs 3.43 lakh (ex-showroom India) price tag, it seems like the bike barely makes any sense, especially when you consider other much more value for money alternatives. For example, the fantastic Aprilia RS 457 is on sale for Rs 4.10 lakh, ex-showroom India. For just Rs 67,000 more, you get a bike that looks more modern, packs a lot more features and a more powerful engine.
