Quick News Highlights:

- The Z900RS Cafe variant gets a new Ebony colour scheme
- Powered by the same 948cc liquid-cooled, inline-four engine that makes 111PS and 98.5Nm

The 2025 Kawasaki Z900RS and Z900RS Cafe have been launched in Indonesia with new colours. However, the retro-roadster styling remains the same as before.

What’s New On The 2025 Kawasaki Z900RS?

The Kawasaki Z900RS comes in a new Candy Tone Red colour with beige and white stripes, whereas, the Z900RS Cafe now gets a new Ebony shade, with a black base colour with green accents. Both bikes feature a white 'Kawasaki' decal on the tank, with the side panels featuring the bike's name, 'Z900RS,' in white.

The Z900RS Cafe additionally comes with a cafe racer-style headlight cowl and the pillion seat is shaped like a cowl. The bike also gets a narrower handlebar, placed like a clip-on handlebar.

What’s Unchanged?

Both the Kawasaki Z900RS and Z900RS Cafe continue to be powered by the same 948cc, liquid-cooled, inline-four engine that makes 111PS at 8500rpm and 98.5Nm at 6500rpm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. It features a semi-digital instrument cluster that includes a dual-pod analogue speedo and tachometer, whereas the LCD cluster is placed in the middle and shows the odometer, tripmeter, fuel gauge, gear position indicator, traction control, clock and other telltale lights.

The hardware also remains unchanged. The bike sits on a trellis frame and gets an inverted fork with 110mm wheel travel and a monoshock with 140mm wheel travel at the rear. Braking is handled by 300mm dual discs at the front and a 250mm disc at the rear.

BikeDekho Says

In India, the Kawasaki Z900RS is available at Rs 16,80,000 (ex-showroom) and is only available in the Metallic Diablo Black colour option. The new colour option on the Indonesian version looks pretty good and we hope that Kawasaki brings the updated colour option to India soon.
