All Jawa, Yezdi And BSA Bikes Launched In 2024
An action packed year for the manufacturer!
Classic Legends had a very busy 2024 overall, with a total of 3 brand new bike launches and many updates and changes being made to their existing line-up of bikes as well.
Jawa 350
Jawa started the year strong with the launch of the Jawa 350 in January. This bike replaced the Jawa Classic or Jawa ‘Jawa’ as it was called. It replaced the 293cc engine with the bored out 334cc version called ‘alpha 2’. Although here, it was detuned and had lower compression.
2024 Jawa Perak
For 2024, the Jawa Perak got a host of changes in the month of April. The biggest one being it getting the same forward set footpegs as the Jawa 42 Bobber. They used to be centre set and now have been moved 155mm forwards. It also got a retuned monoshock, now with 7-step adjustable preload. Alongside this, Jawa also introduced 2 new colours for the 42 Bobber and added alloy wheels as an option.
2024 Yezdi Adventure
The Yezdi Adventure was also updated heavily for 2024 in July. It got a retuned gearbox and the same engine as the Jawa 350, and shed some much needed extra weight. The coolant reservoir placement was changed, it got a new exhaust sound and also 4 new colours were introduced.
2024 Jawa 42
In August this year, the Jawa 42 got slight changes for the 2024 model year as well. The changes came in the form of a retuned engine, new colour options and a new base model, to decrease the starting price.
BSA Goldstar 650
On Independence day this year, we got the biggest launch yet from Classic Legends, the BSA Goldstar 650. It brought along the revival of the BSA nameplate in India. With this, we finally got another bike in the classic roadster segment to directly rival the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650.
Jawa 42 FJ
The last launch from Jawa this year was the 42 FJ, in September. It features the same ‘alpha 2’ engine as the Jawa 350 & Yezdi Adventure, albeit in a different state of tune. This bike was launched to compete with the likes of the Hero Mavrick 440, the Triumph Speed T4 and the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450.
